- Accumulator
- A single bet that links multiple selections; all must win for the bet to pay out, multiplying the odds.
- Arbitrage Betting
- Placing bets on all possible outcomes of an event across different bookmakers to guarantee a profit regardless of the result.
- Asian Handicap
- A handicap applied to a team to level the playing field, giving one side a positive or negative goal start.
- Bankroll Management
- The strategy of deciding how much of your total funds to risk on each bet to stay in the game.
- Bet Builder
- A tool that allows you to combine several markets from the same match into one custom wager.
- BTTS
- Short for Both Teams To Score; a bet on whether each side will find the net at least once during the match.
- Cash Out

- Clean Sheet
- A bet on whether a team will finish the match without conceding a single goal.
- Corner Count
- A bet on the total number of corners taken during a match, either over or under a specified number.
- Double Chance
- A bet that covers two of the three possible outcomes (win, draw, loss) in a match, increasing your chance of winning.
- Expected Value (EV)
- The average amount you can expect to win or lose per bet if you repeat the same wager many times.
- First Goalscorer
- A prop bet that wins if the player you selected scores the first goal of the match.
- Free Bet
- A token provided by the sportsbook that can be used to place a bet without using your own money.
- In-Play Betting
- Placing a bet after a match has started, with odds that update as the game progresses.
- Juice
- The commission, also called vig, that a bookmaker includes in the odds, guaranteeing a profit regardless of outcome.
- KYC
- Know Your Customer; the process a sportsbook uses to verify your identity and prevent fraud.
- Market Movement
- Changes in odds or betting lines caused by heavy betting action or new information about a match.
- Moneyline
- A straight bet on which team will win a match, with odds expressed as a positive or negative number.
- Odds Format
- The way odds are displayed, such as decimal (e.g., 2.50), fractional (e.g., 3/2), or American (e.g., +150).
- Over/Under
- A bet on whether the total number of goals (or points) in a match will be higher or lower than a set line.
- Point Spread
- A margin set by the bookmaker that the favored team must exceed for a bet on them to win.
- Prop Bet
- A bet on a specific event within a match, such as which player scores first or how many yellow cards are shown.
- Self-Exclusion
- A self-imposed ban that prevents you from placing bets for a set period, helping you control gambling habits.
- Value Bet
